WI Annual Report filing services scam

If you are a Wisconsin-based business with your state annual report due December 31, you may have recently received a legitimate-looking email from “US Filing Services.” This email looks as though it came from the state, but it did not. If you scroll to the bottom of the email, you will see that it is from a company in Florida who wants to charge you $149 + state filing fees to file your annual report for you. 

We strongly advise against using this company. Your annual report should (in most situations) be filed by you, your attorney, or PPG Partners. We anticipate these emails will continue for annual reports due in future quarters as well. If you receive this email, either mark it as "Junk" or use the "Unsubscribe" button near the bottom of the email.
