Manitowoc County Tax Begins January 1, 2025

Beginning January 1, 2025, a 0.5% county sales and use tax is imposed on sales and purchases in Manitowoc County. Sixty-nine of 72 counties in Wisconsin have adopted the county tax.

Sellers  registered  to  collect  Wisconsin  sales  and  use  tax  must  also  collect  county  tax  if  making  sales  to  Manitowoc County, regardless of whether the seller is located in the county.
